America is different in many ways. We have public schools, and we are free. We don’t judge people by what they believe in. You can do whatever you want nobody will and won't judge because it’s a free country otherwise some people might not like them. Why I love living in America is because we can do what we want no what no matter what. We can also do things other place can’t do. We can pick where we want to go like shopping and our job. We can marry or date anyone we want. I’m glad to be able to to go any where we want. We have a lot of freedoms like we can pick

I’m always in awe at people who claim how great The United States is and how they wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. If you say anything bad about America, people tend to respond with ‘’If you don’t like America then leave”. Translation: Criticizing our country by pointing out the flaws and wanting to fix them is ridiculous. But I cut them some slack because they wouldn’t be speaking so positively about America if they had any idea about what’s going in this god forsaken country. If you have no clue what’s really happening here and you’d love to know. Well, it’s your lucky day because you are about to find…

America is known for its freedom and pride but, America does have some flaws. The authors of both I Hear America Singing and I Too describe America in the past during their time. They both describe how they feel while living in America. In the poem I Hear America Singing, the theme is about pride in America and everyone working and coming together. Walt Whitman feels that America is growing and getting better as a country with everyone working and enjoying what they do. America is filled with joy and pride, “I hear America singing, the varied carols I hear, those of mechanics, each one singing his as it should be blithe and strong” (1-3). All of the workers are strong and gleeful. Everyone is in harmony while working together. America symbolizes…
