Abraham Lincoln did a wonderful thing by putting his whole heart into abolishing slavery. In doing so, he expelled fear, as well as brought upon a new era of courage for those who were once prisoner to others due to their skin color. Not only was he passionate in his beliefs of freedom and justice but "His bold and unchanging opposition of slavery is, without any doubt, his greatest contribution to the history of America, and, indeed, to world history as well." In my opinion, Jefferson was a man of many talents; all of which crafted him to become a man of immense greatness throughout his llife. "Thomas Jefferson's service to the New American Union lasted over 50 years." (Source 3) This sentence alone shows how involved he was along with how excessive his time and devotion were for this country. From being a congressman,to aiding in the writing of The Declaration of Independence, becoming Governor, and later to be a president, Jefferson really has don it all.
