Compare And Contrast Maci And Makena
With a raise of the orange flag the boat steered clear of the tube that had two people trapped inside of it. When Kristin saw another boat coming she put up the flag once more to tell the other boat there was people in the water. Kristen’s idea was that if she can get over to us by pulling herself closer to us by the rope, she will be able to lift up the tube(with the help of Maci and Makena), and they will be saved. When Kristen got over to tube she lifted it up a tiny bit so she can explain her idea to them. Once she did that, they counted to three and successfully lifted the tube up, she told the girls to hold on to the rope, but before she did Makena was already to far to reach the rope. She was slowly drifting farther and farther away, so Kristen and Maci got back on the boat and told Ryan what happened to Makena. Ryan had an idea of wrapping the boat around Makena so she could grab the rope and climb back

Joseph Conrad and William Shakespeare are not traditionally paired up for a critical analysis. However, the characters MacBeth and Kurtz in MacBeth and Heart of Darkness, respectively, prove to be worthy of comparison. MacBeth and Kurtz share many common characteristics: both have vaulting ambition that leads both to their success and their demise, a superiority complex, and both make similar sacrifices to achieve their goal. Despite their many similarities, MacBeth and Kurtz differ in many respects. The way the authors present each character varies greatly, and the way each interacts with his surroundings contrast a great deal. The circumstances that follow their actions also differ since the societies in which they live are not similar in any aspect. Through their many similarities and differences, MacBeth and Kurtz prove to be characters filled with evilness, and upon a closer examination, the differing degrees of that evilness are seen.…
