It goes from the sensorimotor function to the association cortex, secondary motor cortex, primary motor cortex, brain steam motor nuclei, and spinal motor circuits. We have two major areas of the sensorimotor association cortex. One is the posterior parietal association cortex and the other the dorsolateral prefrontal association cortex. The posterior parietal association cortex is one of the brain regions in which controls sensorimotor functions.
