I felt as if every year it was getting bigger as I was growing up. Adding new homes, new offices, new businesses everyday for the past twenty-one years. The southern part of Nogales you can see how it used to look like. The Mexican border where both sides of the border can be seen clearly. The Historic Morley Avenue is an entire street near the port of entry to the border with family owned businesses. Along the same road you can find the old courthouse still standing since 1904. Including Nogales City Hall, City Hall Memorial Wall and Teychea Park right behind it. In the northern part of Nogales has most of the businesses around. Nogales is also home to five elementery schools, two middle schools, and only one High School. The schools I went to were Challenger Elementary School named after Challenger space shuttle disaster that occured in 1986, Desert Shadows Middle School, and Nogales High School home of the Apaches. In my High School years I entered and graduated as an Apache. Around Nogales, the majority of the community will always greet you with a smile on their faces. Everywhere you went to in Nogales you will always find yourself meeting new people, or greeting your own family and friends you went to school with. Even finding teachers you currently or previously had while attending only of the schools in Nogales. The best part of all my experiences while liviving in Nogales was spending valuable time with family, either enjoying a day out at the parks with them or enjoy annual events with them. If you just want to relax and enjoy a day in sun, then we go to the parks that Nogales has to offer. Teychea Park is the park I always used to go to when I was younger. Going down the slides, sway back and fourth on the swings, or shoot some hoops on backetball court. The best way to spend time with famiy is certain holidays together. Watching the fireworks in the
