Compare And Contrast The Outsiders
The book The Outsiders written by S.E Hinton is very different from the movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola. First of all the scenes differed by quite a lot. Not only that the characters weren’t introduced exactly the same. Many relationships weren’t told identical from one another. Although they were very different each did portray the plot of the story.
In the novel each character is described in great detail. They have their own introductions to show their importance. In the movie the characters were barely told about, but much of which was having to figure out their names and backstory by the dialogue. For Example: In the novel Ponyboy was described as having light-brown almost-red long hair and greenish-gray eyes, likes books and watching
