Comparison Between 'Shamen And Mind Power'
Shamen And Mind Power
By Geoffrey Cotto
Mar 15, 2011
Your mind is like a magnet, which is something you may not have known. Your mind will attract things that it sees and thinks. The law of attraction deals with this mind power.

The law of attraction is about believing so strongly that something will happen that it does end up happening. This means that you can have the most amazing life if you just put your mind to it. It may take time, but with practice you can have what you want. Your mind is amazing and powerful.

And by the way, this is something that we all have. We all have the ability to use our mind power to the best of our ability and outcomes. However, most of us don't because we just don't think we can. Yet, researchers have shown

We may think negatively because we don't believe that what we want to have can actually be ours. Another way to build up visualizations and positive mental images is to write a narration to yourself, like a story. Open up a piece of paper and write down the goals you want to achieve, and focus on them. Work backwards from the goal to what needs to happen immediately before accomplishing it. Create your visions out of those steps. Writing things down also imprints it, and makes it harder to forget.

Affirmations are another technique that you can use to boost your mind power, by giving yourself a positive self image boost. President Obama got into office with the simple affirmation of Yes We Can, and that same attitude can help you accomplish other goals. Do things like affirming that you're going meet specific targets in a given month, whether they're goals for saving money or losing weight - something that's definite and

On the topic discussed on the radio channel 88.9 on “State of Nevada” was Trump’s ban on immigration. Joe Schoenmann, the radio host, along with his guest, Chris Edward, an assemblyman, has acknowledged the conflict this ban has created in the society, which causes many people to voice their frustrations and anger towards Trump and the new order he signed. The new executive order and its impact on immigration cause an uproar and the people to protest outside the airport, which has become a disturbance to many tourists and could affect Nevada’s profit in tourism. Desiring of what will happen in the future by the process of creating a mental image is called visualization. Studies show that visualization helps train the brain to perform the task ahead and thus, primes the brain for success (n.a, 2014). Moreover, according to Daniel (2011), one way to become optimistic is to realize that in order to successfully accomplish the goals in life is to keep moving forward. Knocking off the tasks that help to achieve the goal is then impossible to fail. Realizing that all things are possible with determination and dedication, then becoming positive in pursuing the tasks what the individual is doing is simple.…

I have always set my goals in my mind only, focusing on the main goal, never considering smaller goals. Since I have become a student at GCU, this class has taught me a lot about motivation and goal setting, and how these skills work together. I like the smart goal chart, it has shed a lot of light on the task of goal setting. The chart allows me to see all goals in front of me on paper, and with the proper outline it helps me focus on one step at a time in acheiving my goals. I like the idea of setting smaller goals, and then rewarding myself as I accomplish each step on my way to accomplishing the main goal. I have learned when I take on smaller goals, and reward myself along the way, it motivates me to press on toward the main goal. I will…
