In 2004 K-One Technology introduced a solar panel charger at an expo. “The solar mobile phone charger has a solar panel that can be activated to charge mobile phone by exposure to sunlight or lamp. It also incorporates rechargeable AA battery as back-up power in case of cloudy day or at night.” (Muhtar, NA) This was a device that used a panel and had battery back-up. This was still an interesting idea and close to the device being suggested.
Solar energy is a newer source of usable energy. New competition will emerge and has been emerging for years. Most of these devices can be found on the market, but as new competition enters the market, it means more improvement for this model and more marketing. When new products start to emerge on the market, the product can have changes made, if needed, to compete. Every market has competition, the trick is to create and maintain customer loyalty, so users will not have a reason to try new entrants.
This is proof that there could be a similar product that could be released. A new product could create a problem, especially in the cost. If a new product comes out and is sold for less, then it could be a strong competition. It could be even more competition if the product is made for less and works better. It is important for a new product, like the one being proposed, to stay ahead of the times. It needs to be the best on the market, made for the least amount possible and sold to make the highest profit. This will keep this charger strong in the global market and it will mean the product can improve all the time, keeping it above all possible competition.
Global Entry Strategy
There are many ways to get a new product into the global industry. One of the best methods for this device would be to introduce it at electronic expos and conventions. This would allow experts of the current industry to see the device and to see how useful it is. The product could also be introduced to other stores
