Components of a Tour Package to Queensland

New packaged product

Introduction

Rebecca’s Holidays is conducting a 7day and 6 night tour package of Queensland. According to Tourism and events Queensland, Queensland, NSW and Victoria have the highest percentage of Holiday visitors to Queensland. I have chosen this product to be a holiday tour package for families in the Gold coast since 20% of Queensland visitors travel to the Gold coast, 62% of whom travel there for Holiday purposes and 34% of Gold coast visitor’s travel with family. These statistics provided by Tourism Queensland evidently prove that families travelling to the Gold coast for holiday purposes are recognised as popular market of tourism. Since most people prefer to travel to Queensland in the summertime this package is suited for October to April and that’s where Queensland experiences summer.

This package is a balance of summer activities like visiting Dream world and White-water world, beautiful scenery like visiting the Lamington National Park, Broadbeach and the Rathdowney, an exciting experience to skywalk Tamborine Rainforest to shop at Surfers Paradise beachfront markets and gives all members of the family a fun and educational trip on wildlife and sea creatures at Australian Zoo and Underwater World.
The tour consists of free time for the family to do their own shopping, eating out, exploring Queensland and gives them the option to visit any family or relatives. These components have been chosen since statistics (from Tourism Queensland) state that the top 5 activities undertaken for families in the Gold coast are to eat out at restaurants, visit friends or relatives, go to the beach, go shopping and general sightseeing, the components and options of this tour consist of all these activities making it very suitable for the majority of families who visit the Gold cost.

Tourists will have the comforts of staying at a 3.5 star hotel called the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Surfers Paradise which has been

I was very excited about this holiday, as I have been seeing such a fascinating place like Australia either in movies or on Discovery channel. We tanned, went tubing, snorkeled with the colorful fish, went on boat rides, and ate pineapples in the beach. The highlight of my holiday was going parasailing with my sister. I was both scared and nervous at the same time we were about 50ft up in the air!…
