As time progresses, computers continue to contribute to the advancement of humanity. They influence it in a way that benefits and connects today's society. Computer Science ensures what we have and use now can only get better. It is the fuel that keeps me involved passionately with computers. My goal is to simplify, and advance the computer. I plan to have a career as a Software Developer. I have many opportunities with a CS degree. I would like to start my own game development studio. My interest for computers began when I was a child. I began to study, and familiarize myself with the very essence of the computer. Computers have always been of great significance to me. I participated in all activities, clubs, and societies in high school that had anything to do with computers and electronics. The endless possibilities computers present are fascinating. I consider a scholarship from UAH to be an excellent opportunity to further develop my knowledge in Computer Science. I would be studying under the direction of the highly experienced specialists, which UAH has to offer. I am confident that UAH is the best place to continue my education in the field I have chosen, and that tutelage I will get at UAH is second to none. I also believe that it is the best place for me to find use of my abilities and make a contribution to society.

Change in technology happens rapidly on a daily basis. As Schlesinger expresses, “The last two lifetimes have seen more scientific and technological achievement that the first 798 put together”(Schlesinger 41). Whether it deals with cars, travel, medicine, media, or a host of other topics, advancements in technology are occurring all around us. It is up to us whether to accept these changes or not. Many believe that change in technology is a hindrance, causing more problems than solutions. I believe technology has created a safer environment, revolutionized the way we look at different ideas, and resolved many economic problems in industries! In other words, change is inevitable and people should readily accept it.…
