The people think of the statues in a negative way towards Americas past and don't think of it as an educational historical purpose and are upset over the history of our country. Yes, people of different races are getting upset over the confederates of our past who are remembered today with monuments but the people need to open their eyes to the present and not worry about the past and it is pathetic that we drop to their level and take it into consideration and are following through with the removal of the statues that are a massive portion of U.S. history, the U.S. has pretty much given an ok to rioting over history and are giving the people their way and how they want it.
