2. Which of the available conflict management strategies is most appropriate for the current situation with David and James? Provide your rationale, including what factors you considered in making your selection. Your response should be at least 100 words. The approach strategy to be use to work with the conflict between David and James is collaboration. That strategy goes to have the effect of win/win for both, as they are recognize as valuable employees. Having David and James to collaborate each other go to have the effect of teamwork and cooperation, also go to help to obtain the goals and to a continuous build of their relationship. This goes to be a process to work with difference to come up finding solutions that satisfied both. The use of collaborating strategy will take more time than others strategies will help to develop trust and the understanding need between each other points of view
3. If the selected strategy is not successful, what is your alternate strategy? Provide your rationale for this selection. Your response should be at least 100 words. If the selected strategy proves not to be successful for David and James the alternative strategy will be compromising. Whiting the solution of the conflicts the parties involve has to bring something to obtain something with David and James that might be an appropriate outcome, each one have to give something to work together to achieve the goals for the organization. By using the compromising strategy David and James go to hold part of their position on the issue and give others. This strategy might save time while try to find a solution on the different issues raised and solutions are applied. Both david and James have to recognize alternatives options and solutions to the problems and understand different point of view.
4. What potential road blocks might be encountered in resolving the conflict? How would you address these? Your response should be at least 100 words. The potential roadblocks that might be encountered when solving the conflict between Dave and James, using the collaboration strategy will be the time and energy need, and the willingness of both to trust each other. The commitment of both go be needed to assure they go to work toward a common goal. The roadblocks that might come out with the compromising strategy will be the lack of the original position, that can have negative effects on goals and the compromise form them. With both strategies the expectation is to stablish a clear communication and let David and James Know that their contribution is valuable in the process of solving the conflicts.
