Conservatives vs. Liberals
Conservatives vs. Liberals

Conservatives are very supportive for individuals that are in the higher class, while liberals support the lower class individuals in society. Conservatives and Liberals have completely different views from one another. I personally favor liberalist views due to the fact they favor equality within our society. While conservatives feel as though within a society everyone should be responsible for themselves they don’t believe in aid to mankind. In our society we can achieve and do so much more if everyone as a whole worked together and cared about the individual next to them. The world that we live in today would but much stronger, there would be less poverty and more equality in the working class. Due to the different views between the conservatives and the liberalist, a world of equality will never exist. I will distinctly go over the different beliefs between the conservatives and the liberalist of which I agree with all of the liberalist beliefs. Liberalist feels as though the government should do more to give everyone more equal opportunity. They believe it is the duty of the government to protect our civil liberties, and our human and civil rights. To sum it all up, the government is to make sure that no one is suffering and if there is, then it is the government’s job to solve the issues within the society. Conservatives on the other hand believes in free market, personal responsibility and that it’s the government’s job to ensure our freedom to chase our own goals. Conservatives unlike the liberals feel as though it is our own initiative to solve our own problems, which I highly disagree with. The liberal’s beliefs gives a sense of equality which is fairer, and the government will not be biased and select a few to help, the government will be assisting everyone no one will be singled out. Conservatives only care for themselves, and not the person next to them, how is a country supposed to be a strong nation if we

Liberals are often ones of minority groups and immigrants whose lifestyle has only gotten better with the evolution of change. Then there are the exception to the rule, there are economic conservatives and there are social conservatives. Economic conservatives can come from economic dominant groups and social conservatives often come from socially dominant groups. The next factor for both sides comes from their location.…

In a nation with such polar political stances and opinions, I typically view myself as a liberal-leaning member of society. As a liberal, I value the rights of the individual, and the freedoms that we are born with. I take into consideration that opportunity and equality for all is an important idea that should be stressed in our society and should be carried out by our government. I also feel that it is the role of the government to eliminate social problems and protect the natural rights of each individual. I stand on the ground of eliminating the death penalty, enforcing pro-choice decisions, and accepting that Global Warming/ Climate Change is a direct result of poor human decisions and consumptions, along with many other liberal ideas.…

(John, 2014) Conservatives are ideologically defined by their strict adherence to traditional values and practices as well as their support for little to no governmental regulation and their emphasis on individual citizens taking personal responsibility. Liberals are alternatively defined by their belief that the government should be active in the regulation of the people in order to protect the citizens from the possibility of unequal and discriminatory actions. (Rosalee & Zoe, p134) Liberals are also recognized by their beliefs in the overall equality of citizens, protection of liberties and progressive thinking that is based on the idea that there is overall an essential goodness to the mass populous. While there are vast differences between these opposing sides, it is possible to see how a person may agree with a conservative view of government while simultaneously believing in the humanist attributes of the liberal…

I believe that I fall under liberal on the political spectrum. I have very liberal beliefs and I have very progressive ideas and think the government should be more involved in people's lives. For example I believe that the government should be doing a much better job at protecting the earth and implement more laws to save the earth from global warming. Another very important issue that I believe the government is not doing enough to prevent is racism and sexism in America. Both these issues are prevalent in America and I believe that the government needs to do more to address these issues. Since Donald trump has become president I believe sexism, racism, and global warming issues have taken a backseat, to other less important issues. Conservatives…
