Creating Vision Board
Creating a vision board can be a beneficial tool in making your goals and dreams a reality and also can be a fun craft project! You will find simple tips on how and why to make Vision Boards. The process is not only fun and wildly creative but also a very empowering tool and life changing. Do you have a goal or dream you want to achieve? You can design your own vision board with little material and have fun doing it!
There are many reasons people create vision boards. Have you ever needed inspiration or motivation to lose weight, save money for that big new house, run an upcoming 5K or anything else you want or dream about? You will find that once you complete your vision board it will help create self-esteem and self- worth and aid in achieving these goals. The supplies needed to create your vision board are not that hard to find. You will need a poster board with a nice matte finish and a big stack of magazines. Make sure you don’t limit yourself to certain magazines, be creative your options are endless! And last but not least you will need glue, preferably rubber cement. Once you have all your supplies; put some music on, invite some friends over to make this into a fun craft project! Now it’s time to start your vision board. Go through your magazines and tear the images from them. No gluing yet! Just let yourself have lots of fun looking through magazines and pulling out pictures or words or headlines that you can get inspiration from. Have fun with it. Make a big pile of images and phrases and words. Go through the images and begin to lay your favorites on the board. Eliminate any images that no longer feel right. This step is where your intuition comes in. As you lay the pictures on the board, you’ll get a sense how the board should be laid out. For instance, you might assign a theme to each corner of the board. Examples might include health, job, spirituality, or relationships. Glue everything onto the board. Add writing if you want. You
