Specific Purpose: To inform my audience on how to make a scrapbook.
Thesis: Scrapbooking is fun and easy, and today I will inform you on how to make a simple scrapbook.
I. Introduction: How many of you have boxes of old photographs? Or maybe new photographs that are just piling up? Scrapbooking is a way to preserve your memories and add your personal touch to your photographs. Today I will be showing you how to make a simple scrapbook. Transition: There are several materials and photographs that will be needed to be gathered in order to make a scrapbook.
II. Body A. Collect the material you would like to use for the book.
The materials that will be needed are items such as photographs, embellishments, markers, a scrapbook, scissors, glue, and paper. B. Decide on the order of your materials.
The first step to scrapbooking is selecting your photographs, you can choose a theme. There are several papers that have designs on them that you can choose. I personally like to choose designed paper then add a solid background for the picture. After all that is selected you can add your pictures however you would like to the scrapbook page. Glue or tape, can be used to add the pictures to the page. After your pictures are set then embellishments can be added to your liking.
C. Arrange materials in the book.
After all pages are done you can arrange them into the scrapbook, then bind the scrapbook back into place or just put each page in each empty sleeve.
III. Conclusion: Today I have showed you the simple way to make a scrapbook. I hope that you can take the time to create one in the near future, they make great gifts or simply just joyous memories for your family. References:
