“I can’t believe he would turn me in like that!” I ranted. “After more than 30 years of friendship. How could he?”
“Well, you did rob a bank, and were the most wanted man in Chicago.” nagged my cell mate, Ben.
Ben was a very buff 45 year old that has been here in and out. Each time he’s here, he claims it to be a different fist fight. Although, he’s here almost every month, so who knows the truth?
“Let’s go people!” barked the police officer.
It was time for dinner. It seems to be the same thing every time: mashed potatoes, cold soup, expired milk, and some bread.
“Here you go, bank robber,” snarled the lunch lady.

“What on Earth are u doing Jimmy?” I barked, “You handed me in, remember?”
“Of course I remember, it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I know that it wasn’t you. I know who did it, you just have to promise me if I tell you, you won’t go to the police, okay?”
“Fine,” I agreed.
“I’m truly sorry, but it was me. I didn’t want to turn myself in, and I saw that you were wanted, so I quickly decided to turn you in. I needed the money for my family, and I couldn’t get a rise at the station. I’m sorry...” he cried.
“Sorry isn’t going to cut it, Jimmy. If you thought I wasn’t turning you in, you thought wrong. After all these years of friendship, you betrayed me. I don’t want to see you again.” I said firmly.
The next day after I had settled into a hotel, I went to the police station. I quickly explained my story, and they went on again with the investigation, and found me not guilty.
After a month, they had finally took in Jimmy for questioning. Though they had found me not guilty, they sure did find Jimmy guilty.
They had told me that it was the shortest investigation ever done. Jimmy had apparently pleaded guilty, and the judge thought so too. He was arrested the next
