Trees, fresh grass, clean air and, “low air pollution” is all aspects of Northern Oregon. Home sweet home, I was raised here, and this culture will always be a part of me. Even though it is not a well know-culture due to it is minusculely of the state, it is still present. Though the culture is known for the smell of the sweet grass, crisp apples, hemp oil and, hippie culture.
From the Buddhist pamphlets, organic Weed and, Nike clothes are cultural affricates that are physically present within my culture. There are several other unique objects within my culture such as trees, tennis shoes, rain coats and, mud. A lot of these objects are connected to nature and spirituality. I also see the tear-stained faces, I hear the constant blare of police cars, and I see sign after sign saying “Anything helps” and, I see cultural appropriation. Our culture takes from other cultures without any thought about it. For example, the use of the word “Namaste”, dreads and, headdresses from ingenious ethnic groups are all borrowed aspects from other aspects.
