experience driving. Since teens have to be off of the streets, most likely they will be home where their parents can supervise them. Being under the supervision of their parents, teens can not be on the roads participating in dangerous activities, such as drinking and driving or racing one another.
Parental supervision would help cut back on teenagers breaking laws and making risky decisions. A curfew will keeps teenagers safe, and out of trouble. Having a curfew will positively affect teenagers. Since teens have to be home earlier than usual, they will make smarter decisions. Teens would also have to think more before committing an action. They would not be so careless when it comes to being on time. An early curfew will allow teens to rest and spend quality time with their families. Being more rested will help teenagers excel in school. An early curfew will also grant teens more time to study and form a healthy bond with their family. Curfews positively affect teens in many different ways. Others believe that curfews unfairly interfere in teenagers' lives. Many teenagers play a high school sport. Students usually do not arrive at the school until very late after a sporting event. Many varsity level games are not over until nine o'clock at night. Therefore, students do not arrive at school until ten o'clock or later. However, not all of the games are away games, so students would not always be getting home late. When there is an away game, players can arrange a ride home with
a parent or guardian. Some games are played very close to their school; therefore, students will not arrive at school very late. At times there are eligible reasons when a teen should not have a curfew, but the pros of a curfew outweigh the cons. I believe a very successful way to keep teens out of trouble would be to have an enforced curfew. Keeping teens off the streets after a certain time will make sure they are safe. A curfew will give teenagers more time at home to rest. Sometimes teens can not be home by a certain time, but they can find a way to stay out of trouble.
