Introduction

Online systems range from simple to complex. A simple online service may be as basic as providing information to researchers. A complex online service might be an application to apply for financial aid online. Online services include email services, music or movie websites, search engines and online stores. Certain types of software may be used to access online services. The act of ordering products or services over the Internet became a must nowadays.
Starbucks is named after the first mate Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. The logo is also inspired by the sea – featuring a twin‐tailed siren from Greek mythology. Starbucks is situated in City Center Mall and Seef Mall, the only one of its kind to feature delicious, handcrafted beverages and great-tasting food is that orders are made using touch screens on every table where the customer can set an order, they can decide diverse zests and flavor from the compilation that is offered, and later on pay at the cashier desk using either cash or credit card.
Background of study
Our project is trying to make use of modern technology which prevailed, nowadays. The act of using modern technology will help shorten time and effort. The Starbucks will be a quick-service shop where customers can place orders online. We will use the intranet directed at our customer base as a model of what we can accomplish for them. Our project will be located in public places such as Bahrain City Center, Bahrain Airport and many other crowded places where people visit regularly.
