D1: Evaluate how successful a selected business organisation has been in preparing for the growing use of e-business

Introduction:
In this report I will be evaluating how successful Amazon as a business has been in preparing the growing use of the e-business.
About Amazon:
Amazon.com is a Fortune 500 e-commerce company based in Seattle, WA. Amazon was one of the first big companies to sell goods over the Internet. The company was founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994, and launched in 1995. They started out as an online bookstore and then quickly diversified by adding other items, such as VHS tapes and DVDs, music CDs, software, video games, electronics, MP3s, clothing, furniture, toys and even food items.
Amazon.com is an American international e-commerce company which has headquarters located in Seattle, Washington, United States. Jeff Bezos incorporated the company (as Cadabra) in July 1994 and then the site went online as Amazon.com in 1995. The company was renamed after the Amazon River, one of the largest rivers in the world. Which was named after the Amazons, the legendary nation of female warriors in Greek mythology.
What is e-business?
E-business (or electronic business) is the term used to describe using the internet to operate your business. E-business represents only a part of worldwide business, but it is one of the fastest growing sectors that provide entrepreneurs with excellent opportunities to enter the market.
E-Business allows companies to contact with their internal and external processes more professionally and successfully. Also work more closely with their suppliers and partners to have a better satisfy the needs and expectations of their customers, leading to improvements in overall business performance.
Explain how e-business has benefited the business in achieving this type of success
