Dating Profiles: A Short Story

Hey, I'm Shawn. We both know how dating profiles can be, so I'm just going to be honest and myself and we'll see how it goes.

I'm just a shy guy who tries his best at pretending I'm not. Something I'm trying to do is be as happy and carefree as I can.

So in that regard, my goal is just to be happy and to bring as much happiness as I can to the people I care about. I also want earn myself a home, somewhere I can call my own. And when I'm old and grey, I'll pass it on.

That got a bit heavy, oops. ^.^

Right now, I'm loving my job at Canadian Tire. The people are pretty awesome and it's so close to home. Speaking of home, for now I am living with my grandmother. It's something I'd like to change, but I do enjoy getting to know my grandmother as a person. She's a tough lady.
Watching all of the X Files with my grandma was an awesome experience, she really loves the show.

Every once in a while my brother Trevor will stop by to hang out, or kidnap me for some grand adventure. But normally we just hang out and watch show's, anime's or play Ark together.

Yeah, I am a bit of a nerd when it come's to video games. I just like playing through the story and maybe playing some multiplayer with good company.

I just started woodcarving and I'm enjoying it. Maybe one day I'll make a nice chess set, until then I'll stick to my "egg's" that turn out like rectangle's. :D

Also I like gardening, but since I'm a apartment dweller. I gotta stick to potted plants. I have this Cypress Tree, that may or may not be dead. So I call it Schrödinger's tree, just until we find out.

That's about it for me, I'm just hoping to meet a nice person who I can take out on dates and just enjoy each other's company.
