David Karp Research Paper
David Karp was born on July 6, 1986. He grew up in Manhattan, New York. Karp is an American web developer and entrepreneur. He started his career as an intern for Fred Seibert at the animation company Frederator Studios. He is the founder and CEO of the short-form blogging platform Tumblr. His net worth is about $200 million and Tumblr is valued at about $800 million. In 2013, Yahoo! and Tumblr reached an agreement that Yahoo! would acquire Tumblr for about $1.1 billion. David would still remain the CEO on the website. He always had a fascination with blogs; a blog is a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group. Karp came up with the idea of a blogging website because no one ever made one at that
