On the 6th of March 2013, Zakwan Bin Ahmad, the leader of the group had been instructed by Madam Hajah Marhaini binti Mohd Hassan, the lecturer of BEL422 Report Writing subject to prepare a report of the decreasing number of tourists that visit Jeram Linang.
The purpose of this report is to give an overview about problems that are prevents Jeram Linang to be famous. This report will arise some factor that contributed the decreasing number of tourists that visits Jeram Linang. The report is to be submitted on the 6th of June 2013, together with recommendations on these matters.
1.1 Introduction From history, Jeram Linang is among the earliest areas waterfall awakened as peoples public recreation area in Kelantan. Jeram Linang is kind of a cascading waterfall of 12 meters high.
Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan (PBT) namely Majlis Daerah Machang has forged a lot of conveniences like a public toilets, rest sheds, restaurant, prayer area, a camping site, and an ample car park. Good road network has been built for visitors to come visits. Jeram Linang located approximately 10 kilometers from Bandar Pasir Puteh (via the Pasir Puteh - Machang) and 15 kilometers from Bandar Machang (through the Machang - Wakaf Linchong).
1.2 Objectives Of The Study
The following are the objective of the report:
1.2.1 To determine the factors that influence the decreasing number of tourists that visits Jeram Linang.
1.2.2 To investigate the problems that are prevents Jeram Linang to be famous.
1.2.3 To come out with recommendation on how to solve this problem.
1.3 Scope Of The Study
In conducting this report, online resources, newspapers and published reports on the issue were looked into before analyzing the data in detail. Besides that, other relevant text references were also used to justify the scope and focus of the report. Moreover, 30 questionnaires were distributed to visitors who came to visits Jeram Linang.
