Diana Shiley's Address To The Classroom
On January 25th, 2017 we had a guest come to our class to talk about her job. Our guest speaker was Diana Shiley. She is a school social worker and she's been working as one for 28 years! She loves what she does and enjoys it very much.
For her job she works with schools, students, and families to eliminate barriers to successful learning by serving as a link between the home, school and community. Diana has her masters degree in social work, and six years total in hee bachelor's degree. She also deals with health concerns, academic concerns, attendance concerns, lack of parent involvement, family issues, education for special needs, and discipline concerns.
