The dog is not judging you.” If you own any type of pet, you know that any kind of pet can be either very difficult to take care of and very annoying, or a pet can be a very understanding and loyal companion. When Mrs. Clay brought her pet dog, Monte, and hamster, Oreo, to class, it allowed our class to interact and connect with the animals. By being able to physically touch and interact with her pets, I am better able to gather an opinion about them. For instance, one of the most obvious differences between Monte and Oreo is that Monte is a sheep dog mix, where as Oreo is a giant teddy bear hamster. Monte’s coloring of his coat is mainly black with a little bit of white and brown mixed in. Monte is very alert and pays attention very well. Monte is always wanting to do whatever he can to please people, even if that means letting Oreo sit on his head! Unlike Oreo, Monte has very long legs and a long tail. Monte’s long legs also help him to be very athletic, which is a great characteristic to have in a dog. Monte also has a very well-built frame. It is obvious to see that Monte’s mix breed that includes part of a sheep dog was planned to have very evenly built athletic frame. One of the more obvious comparisons between Oreo and Monte is that Monte is a canine and Oreo is not. Monte’s luscious coat and well built frame allows him to be a very attractive looking dog.
