I like the book better because it has a lot more detail where the movie lacked characters and detail. There isn't really many comparing factors between the book and the movie but some are that Hannah opens the door to let in the prophet Elijah in both the book and the movie. Hannah tells stories to the women and children in her barrack in both the book and the movie and I think that those stories is probably what kept most of them alive throughout the movie. Rivka survives in both the book and the movie because Hannah wanted her to get out so she took her place to go into the gas chambers. Rivka later gets out of the amps and changes her name to Eva like she said she would in the movie to Hannah. Rivka later becomes Hannah's aunt Eva in both the book and the movie. There are many differences and similarities between the book and movie. The Lightning Thief is both an astounding book and movie. One of my favorite things that was in the book that wasn’t in the movie, which disappointed me, is Grover being dragged away towards Tartarus. Now, I did enjoy the fact they put in the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee to add more action and adventure to the movie, though it wasn’t in the book. I am glad that Luke stayed the lightning thief or else the movie and book would have been nothing alike in my…

The book is superior to the movie because the book has more details and more to go off of to show the reader the real picture of what really happens throughout Ender’s life. Another reason why the book is better and more interesting than the movie is because it is very interesting how the author puts the story into the future, showing new technology and what might happen in the near future.
