• What are some ways in which receivers of messages provide feedback when listening to or reading a message? What effect does this have on the message? Provide examples.
A receiver can provide feedback when listening to a message by offering their opinion or advice on whatever the subject matter was. The message will get a deeper understanding from different ideas being shared. For example, a wife tells her husband to go to the grocery store to get milk and bread. The husband could respond by telling the wife that they also need ham and cheese. This is an example of how a receiver can provide feedback when listening to a message.

• What are some ways in which senders might receive feedback from their messages? How might this feedback affect the sender and the message? Why is this important?
When a sender receives feedback from their message, asking questions can provide the sender with clarification on the received message. Asking questions is important to ensure that the entire message is understood.
• Which step in the communication process do you consider to be the most important? Why do you think this? Which of these steps is the most uncomfortable for you? Why is this? How might you work to change this?
I think that the most important step in the communication process is when feedback needs to be given. Providing feedback to a message can help everyone involved in the conversation get a better understanding of the message.

• How has technology changed the communication process? Has technology changed the way people communicate in business? Provide examples.
Technology has changed communication by making it faster and easier to join together from around the world to share ideas. For example, social media has changed the way people communicate. Websites such as Facebook and Instagram has helped different people around the world comment and share things of common interests. Communication in business has changed because companies do not have to have face to face meetings anymore. For example, if a store manager lives in California and the human resource manager lives in Texas, having an internet conference call can be an effective way to talk about new things happening for the company and providing a live presentation on the subject matter.
