Do You Agree Or Disagree With The Following Lol Statement
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to be a member of a group than to be the leader of a group. When people work in a group, there is usually one member who is the leader of the group. The leader often show his leadership ability and special feature in order to get elected as a leader. Some people prefer to be the leader of the group; meanwhile, others prefer to be the member of the group because they do not have to take as much responsibilities and pressures. From my perspective, a leader is better than being a member of a group because he or she can not only learn more from experience but also become more responsible. When being a leader, he or she must be the first person to take in charge of the task. As a result, the leader will have more opportunities to learn how to handle and distribute all task impartially, and guide to a success. For instance, I was a team’s leader of a project in the social studies class. As a leader, I needed to pay extra attention on the members who did not finish their own tasks, and I needed to ensure that everyone has understand the job. Besides, I also needed to check the project whether it is followed on the schedule or not. It is also important that we have a good atmosphere when we were working together. I have learned a lot of experience from this project. A leader take much more duty than the members, and being a leader should be a good role model to lead the team. Therefore, being a leader can be trained to have more responsibility. For example, I have a sister, and her name is Gigi. She was fooling around all the day when she was at a young age. However, there was a chance that she became a project leader for her visual art class. After that, she knew that she should be a good model in the class, so she became more positive and learned to take more responsibility whether at home or at school. By this opportunity, my sister got mature a lot more. Therefore, being a leader can often make

Leadership is defined as “a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal” (Northouse, 2007). Managers, supervisors, and team leads are given the authority to accomplish certain tasks and objectives, however this power does not make a person a leader. This assigned authority only means that this person is “the boss.” Leadership differs in that it makes the followers want to achieve goals rather than bossing people around (Rowe, 2007). In other words, one can be assigned to a leadership position but one without such designated title can be a leader by influencing others to do great things.…

A leader is a person who represents the whole class and motivate them. I did not believe I was a leader. During my freshman and sophomore year of high school, I was a quiet spoken individual who listens to what others have to say. It was not that I did not have anything to say, but it was the fear of saying something wrong and others disregarding what I had to say. I did several presentations in high school that made speaking in front of people more easier. However, I was still the timid person who wanted desperately to break my shell but did not know how. A shocking moment had occurred when I had became secretary of Zonta Club. It was junior year and I was surprised to have been part of the leadership team. I was able to discuss my ideas and to speak with the members at ease. It was my breaking point. I was given a privilege to be part of something that made a change. I was not just the soft spoken person, but I was a leader…

In my opinion, leadership is more than just someone who can enlist the aid of others to accomplish a specific task. It is a characteristic and a lifestyle of a person. True leadership is not displayed on days we feel like it. It is a constant display of ones actions to accomplish tasks and set an example for others to emulate. A leader is someone who can be turned to in the absence of knowledge or direction and will either have the answer or know where to get the answer.…

Leadership is an important role in most, if not in all communities, families, and/or school. The role of a leader is that of a strong individual who looks at the big picture, who is goal oriented, and who is driven by a cause. In the community and family I am involved in, I take on the leader role. The management I provide has made a positive difference in the lives of others, including - but not limited to - my family and school courses. My leadership and services have made a major impact on my nine year old brother and fourteen year old cousins.…
