Why Neuter-Spay is the way to go:
Neutering and Spaying* your dogs are a must, yet pet owners generally overlook this easy and simple responsibility. Not only does it prevent overpopulation but it allows the pet owner to relax when it comes to health risks. Although obesity is a down side to neutering and spaying, there is a simple way to avoid it. This is why neutering and spaying your animals (dogs in specific), are the way(s) to go.
Without your animal being neutered or spayed, overpopulation of the species becomes a major problem. It’s safe to presume that all humans enjoy and love animals when they, the animals, are young. And when these adorable animals grow up into old, irritating (for some) nuisances, the pet owner will usually embark on a mission to turn back the years and breed their older animals so that they can once again ‘own’ puppies or kittens etc. But when the new litters of puppies grow up, it all seems to change? Most are usually given away to families that the initial owner trusts. These new owners then get rid of the animals once they have gotten old and ugly. This procedure sadly occurs all around the world as “There are too many pets and not enough homes for these pets.”This proves that if a dog has not been neutered or spayed, a whole community of stray animals becomes a reality.
By not neutering and spaying your dogs, health risks are sure to become a major factor not just amongst the stray animals, but also the ones that have a home because stray animals are always common in suburban areas, especially when there is an overpopulation of them (paragraph 1). This is true as “There are a lot of different medical problems that dogs can get if you fail to get them spayed or neutered”. This proves that by spaying your female pets, false pregnancy, uterine infections and risk of breast cancer are all issues that the owner will never have to worry about. When the pet is not spayed, it can sometimes believe that it is
