Dream reflection
What is your dream? Will you achieve your dream in your lifetime? I'm certain that you desire to. I'm sure you hope you will. But will you actually do it? What odds would you give yourself? One in five? One in a hundred? One in a million? How can you tell whether your chances are good or whether your dream will always remain exactly that—a dream? And are you willing to put it to the test?

Most people I know have a dream. And it includes me. Just like them, I had a dream and it is to become a Computer Engineer. Since our family owns a personal computer, it has been my hobby to use it. I like computers. I like to operate or troubleshoot any problems in the computer. I wanted to be a Computer Engineer because nowadays, people tend to rely on it, making it an item that is used every day. Due to modern technology, computers are the ones that should be innovated to make the lives of people easy. I also wanted to be an Engineer to be successful in life, be happy, and give my family a high quality of living. I will do my best just to reach my dream.

Most people have no idea how to achieve their dreams. What they possess is a vague notion that there is something they would like to do someday or someone they would like to become. But they don’t know how to get from here to there. If that describes you, then you’ll be glad to know that there really is hope.

“If you want to have a life that is worth living, a life that expresses your deepest feelings and cares and dreams, you have to fight for it.” That’s what Alice Walke said. Through the Dream unit, we have looked at evidence in books, articles, watched videos, and listened to speeches. Some people have achieved their dreams, and others haven’t. While our dreams might not come true, it is worth it to dream because it will bring us happiness, our dreams can come true, and dreaming can inspire others.…

Additionally, the career path that I have chosen for myself is the path of being a computer hardware engineer. The reason being is that I like work with computers and electrical systems. For me working with computers would be amazing because I could have a part in designing and building computers not just for consumer use but also for the private sectors in the government. Also, I chose this path because it not only provides very well with the median college graduate salary being $75,000. It also is projected to have one million more job openings than graduates to go into this field. This makes it nearly impossible for me not to be employed at any given time. Plus, if I ever became tired of working with computers which I do not see happening it would be easy to switch to an electrical engineering job to work with other things such as cars and airplanes. The reason being is that they both take the same electrical courses in college to obtain their respective degrees. This is a perfect path because I have wanted to do this job for as long as I could remember.…
