Drunk Driving Hearing the siren of an Ambulance is scary; it notifies that a drunk driver has just crashed. Drunk driving, everybody likes to hang out with their friends and have a good time. Drinking is definitely one way to have a good time. However drinking and driving is illegal. Alcohol can reduce a person’s depth perception; it is very essential when driving because with out it we clearly understand why drinking and driving result on awful circumstances. 17% of accidents are caused by teens, 21-25 year olds cause 71% of those accidents, 12% of those accidents are caused by 55 and above year olds. In 2010, 10,228 people were killed in alcohol-impaired driving crashes, accounting for nearly one-third (31%) of all traffic-related deaths
in the United States. There are serious consequences legal punishments, suspended drivers license from a week up to a year or forever. To conclude this crashes are preventable when drinking and driving, stay at the location if you are drunk, ask for a ride from a person who is sober or call a cab, be smart and think twice before you do something that can cause more harm than good. Don’t drink and drive and don’t let your friends do it either, become a designated driver. For one out of three of us, these could be live saving changes.
