Early Childhood Goals
During the early years of a child's life are the busiest. I believe learning is happening all the time in a child life, through play, interaction with peers, and through single play. Learning is interwoven with the development domains. When using the domains they include, physical, social/emotional, cognitive and communication.

There for working with my Head Start program it's my goal for each of my children to walk out of my classroom at the end of the year using each of these domains, and helping them learn how to be safe, be kind and be Responsible. Which is part of our MBI that our program promotes. When teaching and using the domains, and MBI, I strive for the children to build confidence in them selves and others and continues learning.

Children need the assurance of being loved and cared for while away from home, and in a educational environment. Teaching children has always been a passion of mine, since in high school,working at

However each child is very different, coming from different backgrounds, family interests, and also the development stage.

In planning my classroom I would strive for a developmentally appropriate, children centered learning environment, where each child has there own opportunity to master new skills through activities that are based on the early childhood, when planning these activities they are based on topics that are meaningful to them. When doing such things its boosting their self esteem as they develop and learn.

Children should be given choices, responsibilities, and opportunities to initiates their own learning. I believe when doing observations and assessments I can use these tools when planning my curriculum. Observations not only aide in creating the curriculum also gives incite to the development of each child and you will know what knowledge each child
