Effective leadership must be willing to communicate with your employees, and not be afraid to resolve conflicts. The main role of an effective leader in the industry is communication. The interaction among leaders’ sources of influence tactics in putting power into effect through leadership teaches individuals on learning how to be effective as a team, and personal performance growth. Influence tactics in the Apples industry teaches team members how to role play, practice effective skills, negotiation, accepting feedbacks, and making sure your influence tactics are positive. If there are positive influence tactics, this helps to eliminate conflict in the Apples industry, and achieve excellent results. There are different types of powers that are effective in the industry. One power is the reward power, that rewards employees with promotions, money, or some type of recognition to let employees know that they are appreciated for a job well done. It’s also a good incentive to motivate employees to continue being successful. Referent power is when the leader is most likely to get along well with employees. Employees hold great respect for referent power leaders. Expert power is when the leader has an excellent background and educational history. Usually, an expert power leader has all the skills and knowledge to put a plan together in effective subordination. Power as it applies to leadership can be achieve in many ways. Power in leadership is something we all strive to have in some form, or structure.
