They say there are two types of people in the crime world: those thrust into it without any prior knowledge and those who are practically destined to become a part of it. Elias Carrasco belongs to the latter group. He was born in Vilagarcia, a small coastal town in north-west Spain known for being a center of illegal smuggling activities, to one of the members of the local Charlin clan and his Chilean-born wife. They were not high-ranking members, but they were deeply involved with different criminal activities. It was only natural that their son would follow in their footsteps, which was exactly what happened to Elias. Ever since he could remember, he was playing in the corner with other children while grown-ups had ‘business matters’ to discuss. He didn’t mind, though.
