The embryonic stem cell is spawned when a recently fertilized egg divides, which is then capable of becoming any cell in the human body.
The embryonic cells are vital because unlike the adult stem cells, embryonic cells have the ability to spawn every type of cell that is in the body. These cells can just as importantly be developed and expanded indefinitely in this unspecialized state if under the right conditions. The embryonic cells help scientists learn about the early human developmental stages that are inaccessible.
The adult stem cell, found in babies and children, is a cell that dwells in the previously developed tissue which operates as a maintenance system. This system automatically administers new cells to replace the dead or lost cells. These cells are predominantly …show more content…
There have been many animals that have been cloned. A sheep named Dolly was the first successful animal clone in 1997. Since then, many advancements have been made that has allowed scientists to widen their ability to clone. Mice, cattle, goats, pigs, deer, rabbits, cats, mules, and horses have all been developed from clones. Although there is no evidence of humans being cloned, people are concerned that it is certainly possible.
The controversial issue of cloning is the unethical nature of it. Many religious and unreligious people believe that the regenerating of offspring is of a man and a women, not the removing of stem cells and generating them in a laboratory.
In attempt to prevent human cloning, laws have been made to ban it. At least fifteen states have created laws that prohibits reproductive
