How to make traditional “Mexican” cheese enchiladas
I. INTRODUCTION
A. Attention Getter: Are you hungry and do not know what to make? If you’re anything like me, you’ll probably stand in the middle of the kitchen or staring at the fridge thinking about what you can throw together or come up with now. Oh man! I have a solution for you, make yourself a cheese enchilada.
B. Purpose Statement: Even though you are not of Mexican decent you can also be an expert in Mexican cooking and will be able to make a cheese enchilada.
C. Credibility: Our family roots are from Mexico and one of the main dishes has been there for generation’s is cheese enchiladas. We have served this as a quick dish or for formal gatherings.

BODY
A. Materials/Ingredients
1. Baking Pan
2. Sauce Pan
3. Skillet or Microwave
4. Cheese grader (if you use block Cheese)
5. 2 plates
6. Spatula
7. Spoon
8. Paper towels
9. Can opener
10. Oven
Ingredients you can find in your kitchen
1. 1 Block of cheese of choice or 1 bag of shredded cheese
2. Corn Tortillas
3. Oil (low fat no oil)
4. 1 can enchilada sauce

TRANSITION: We have now gone over the ingredients; let’s talk about making a cheese enchilada a taste of Mexico.

B. There is 11 simple steps to making cheese enchiladas
Step 1: Grade your cheese or use shredded cheese
Step 2: Heat up oil in a skillet or heat up tortillas in microwave
Step 3: Heat up enchiladas sauce in sauce pan
Step 4: Place tortilla in skillet for a couple of seconds each side
Step 5: Then dip tortilla in sauce
Step 6: Lay flat in plate and add cheese
Step 7: Roll tortilla and place on baking pan
Step 8: Repeat till done
Step 9: Sprinkle cheese over rolled tortillas
Step 10: Spoon in extra sauce
Step 11: Place in oven 3 to 4 min or till cheese melts

TRANSITION: Let’s review the things we talked about today.
