Equality In America
America, is a country that is well known from people all over the world. It is known for its success, sacrifice, unity, bravery, freedom, dedication, liberty, equality, diversity, and courage. In my opinion out of all that were listed, the three that stand out the most are sacrifice, freedom, and equality. These three topics are not only presented in the present, but they stood out a great deal in the past too. The next few paragraphs will show how sacrifice, freedom, and equality is shown in our country. Sacrifice, this word has a strong meaning and those who complete this action are strong and compassionate people. They put others before themselves, and act in a selfless matter. After freedom, we received equality. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (Thomas Jefferson 1776) All the people in America are treated with the same respect without a single difference. There should be no difference by the way different people get treated. There should be no discrimination against languages people speak, skin color, or religion. (Malala Yousafzai) This quote talks about how all people, no matter how different their religion or language or race is, to stay united and treat others with equality because America is a family of those who sacrifice, those who have freedom, and most importantly those who have equality.

There are three words that explain what America means to me, sacrifice, freedom, and equality. Sacrifice, is putting yourself in front of the danger in front of you, to stand up for what is right and to selflessly suffer for others to have blessed lives. Freedom, is to be able to do what you please without the fear of persecution. Equality, is a strong word that has a deep meaning, it means, being able to treat everybody the same even if some hold a higher ranking. All of these things are what Americans do as a whole united nation, by sacrificing, getting freedom, and equality. This is what America means to
