Essay On Embryonic Stem Cells
Embryonic stem cells help treat tough diseases that our bodies attracted, and can not fight off. If we continue to use embryonic stem cells then the treatment for these tough diseases will be more efficient. “ Stem cells are expected to be most useful in treating tough diseases.(those that arise from problems with various genes, and are often related to environmental causes)” (Pearson). This information is saying that embryonic stem cells are more useful than any other stem cells because they are young cells that have time to grow into a specialized cell to help that certain disease. Such as a stem cell can grow into a Specialized osteocyte, which is a bone cell, that can help treat diseases like multiple myeloma which is a type of cancer that …show more content…
Stem cells are used to help treat the imperfections that our body needs. Stem cells are used to replace the things in our bodies that we are lacking the most, and they come into help and to get things back to normal. “Tissue damaged by cancer, heart disease, spinal cord injury, stroke or burns could be replaced by tissue grown from stem cells.” (Pearson). This information is telling you that stem cells can help treat all kinds of diseases, and help save lives. Some types of diseases that stem cells have been proved to treat are “ Diseases that may be treated with stem cells are type one diabetes, arteriosclerosis, hypertension, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, alzheimer’s, and most promisingly Parkinson’s disease.” (Pearson).
Embryonic stem cells are more useful than adult stem cells in the way that adult stem cells are more than likely going to be forming into a specialized cell more than it would be a stem cell. Embryonic stem cells still have the time to develop and

Due to recent discoveries, stem cell research will have many future medical possibilities. A recent stem cell breakthrough shows that cloning human organs or body parts to treat patients with injured organs or limb deficiencies could be possible. “The cloning techniques can also be used to grow organs for patients with a failing liver or kidney.” Because the newly cloned organ will be genetically identical to the one being replaced, rather than a donated one, the chances of it being rejected will be very low. Ultimately, this opens up many possibilities of curing patients with injuries, amputations, and failing organs. Stem cell research also reveals the ability to cure diseases. “Researcher Dieter Egli said their work was inspired by the thought of being able to take stem cells from embryos and use them to treat and even cure diseases. Worn out hearts could be patched up, aged brains could be rejuvenated and diabetics could be freed from the need to take insulin, all thanks to stem cells.” Stem cell researchers believe it is possible to cure diseases by replacing old organs with newly cloned ones. This will impact future medical possibilities because newer treatments will be out there and the ability to cure diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer may be possible. Furthermore, federal funding for stem cell research has been limited although by the popularity of its breakthroughs; stem cell research may receive federal funding in the near future. This will broaden stem cell research and allow scientists a greater chance of discovering new medical possibilities in the near…

I would like to introduce you to Embryonic Stem Cell. Embryonic stem cell are by most scientists and researchers to cure spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, cancer, Alzheimer's diseases, heart disease, hundreds of rare immune system and genetic disorders and much more. These Embryonic Stem cell have the ability to form doll adult cell types. Stem cells are found limited quantities in every human body, and can be extracted from adult tissue with great effort but without harm.…

They are used to help heal several types of cancer. Researchers are using stem cells to research stem cell treatments for parkinsons, diabetes and many other health problems. Along with researching cures and treatments, researchers also use stem cells to discover how the body repairs itself. As well as being used in medicine, the body uses stem cells to heal damaged tissue using stem cells. Some scientists are trying to discover the process of how the body heals with stem cells. Even though stem cells are valuable to medicine, it is challenging to acquire them. When obtained, very few stem cells are obtained. In the medical field, stem cells have many…

Scientists believe that using embryonic stem cells offers the most possibilities in scientific research; these cells have the capability to develop into any of the 210 cells found in the human body including heart cells, nerve cells, muscle cells, and skin cells. The budding capacity of the embryonic stem cell may prove useful for treatment of some medical conditions including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, diabetes, spinal cord injuries, heart disease and cancer. The prospective advantage of using embryonic stem cells is fascinating. Embryonic stem cells are capable of becoming any cell type in the body…

“Biomedicine” intends to increase quality of life via new research. One of the recent biomedical research is “Human Stem Cell” from which all 210 different kinds of tissue in the human body originate(the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity, 94). Additionally, UNESCO states that separating some inner cell mass from the embryo at the blastocyst stage, they can be cultured to produce pluripotent stem cells, capable of developing into blood , muscle, or many other kinds of tissues and organs of the body (13). Thus, at first “Stem Cell” may sound hopeful for human life but…

Stem cells, often called the building blocks of the human body, are positioned within the body’s blood, tissues, organs, and immune system. Once they are transplanted, they have the capability to either reconstruct or restore a patient’s damaged cells which could enhance the patient’s health; and in some cases can conclusively save a person’s life.…

What exactly is stem cell research about? Did you know that stem cell research has been around for over 30 years now? According to “Stem Cells for Dummies” the book, stem cells are primitive or unspecialized cells that can help in tissue repair and rejuvenation. When they divide, stem cells have the potential to become any type of cell needed, such as brain, blood or muscle cells, this is what makes them different from other types of cells. There are a couple of different stem cells however, adult stem cells and embryonic. Different kinds of stem cells have different abilities and limitations. Adult stem cells can reproduce themselves and create specific types of cells, but how flexible they are still remains a question. Embryonic stem cells appear to be the most flexible, able to grow indefinitely in the lab and give rise to all the cell types in the adult body.…

There are two primary types of stem cells. One type, embryonic, uses the cells from an early human embryo to create new, specialized types of cells. Embryonic stem cells are used for cell based therapies because they can develop into over 220 cell types found in adult, they have the capacity to reproduce in large numbers. They are capable of almost unlimited cell divisions when placed in culture. This makes them extremely versatile. Using stem cells to gain knowledge of how these cells differentiate, grow, and renew will provide breakthrough results in the study and cure of cancers, diabetes, birth defects, spinal cord injuries, and other diseases caused by dysfunctional cell replication. Embryonic stem cell research can improve drug safety, as a drug can be tested on a group of stem cells before being used on a patient. The embryonic stem cells are extracted from the inner cell mass during the early phase of blastocyst during embryonic development. After an egg is fertilized, generally during in vitro in a laboratory setting, it starts dividing. The blastocyst is a hollow ball of about 150 cells. The inner cell mass are the cells located in the inner part of the ball, once extracted, the embryo is no longer viable or living . Hence, the arising controversy surrounding the destruction of the…

Stem cell research is defined by eHow as “a developing technology that focuses on using undifferentiated cells therapeutically to treat human disease and injury. Stem cells are primitive or unspecialized cells that can assist in tissue repair and rejuvenation. When they divide, stem cells have the potential to become any type of cell needed, such as brain, blood or muscle cells.” Stem cells are important for many reasons but the most well-known is that they have regenerative abilities. Stem cells offer potential for treating diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and Parkinson’s disease.…
