Essay On Legalization And Decriminalizing Marijuana

From what I have learn in Sociology. I think legalization and decriminalization of marijuana is one of the worse action taken in 21st century from our country. I feel like the government legalize this to benefit from it by trying to get the drug money. By legalizing and decriminalizing it, more job will be created. However, I honestly think it the worse that ever happen to America beside wars. I still do not understand how could you legalize a drug that could kill our brain cells and lower our IQ test. I do understand that other countries like Mexico and Columbia are have difficulties with drug however, they have not legalize the use of marijuana. We are always trying to prevent drug trafficking therefore, we help the Mexican government shut down the drug mob and to capture EL Chapo, the drug lord. But at the same time we legalize it when we are trying to stop it. I think there is something behind it that we need to know.
Some of it for a medical reason which is fair I think. But I still do not understand the point of legalizing it just for people to smoke it regularly knowing that it could lower their chances of getting a job in the future. In the video, there were two guys trying to open their own business which was to start selling marijuana. There were other people who grow it also and make a living out of selling marijuana. I think this is so bad for society because it will lead people to start doing it illegally not only in the state of Colorado, but throughout the nation. I do not agree for the legalization because it prevent society from performing up to their best ability. I think the negative affect of Marijuana in society motivates other states from legalizing it. Sadly, I do believe that one day it will be legalize throughout the whole nation. More people are going to turn to a stoner and unfortunaly, more people are going to suffer from disease like cancer or lose their brain
