He was only a little African boy that had just moved to Australia recently with his family due to the fact that his mother was a doctor and wanted to study higher medicine although it was a tradition in their culture that if you married a man you were required to move to where the man lives. so this little boys new step dad lived in Australia. He had been looking forward to going to Australia because he had never been to such a place. He was very keen on seeing all the kangaroos hooping up and down and all the other wildlife had to offer. The family made their home in the suburbs of Melbourne and started school a few weeks in. “it feels like sheep wool” the friend said with comparison and they both laughed.
They were some other kids that the boy didn't get along with and always used to come up to him and make fun of his skin color and call him all sorts of names. The boy always ignored these group of people but it was a nice Wednesday morning and the boy got ready for school as a normal had his breakfast and set of to school. Everyone in the six grade was doing their English work and it was half way into the class when the boy got a note from one of the kids and he didn't want to open it but he decided he would anyways.
“GO BACK WHERE YOU FROM” the note read printed in black dripping paint, the boy was very shocked and he didn't know what to do than i cry because to him he thought no one wanted him around.
“whats wrong” said mrs Whymark in distress, the boy handed the note to her and she read it in horror that one would do this some on else. She quietly took the boy out side and had a chat to him saying not to listen to al the negative people say around you. The teacher goes inside and gets the whole classes attention and explains what just happened. After a while the person who had been figure out and was taken out with the boy to the office. The teacher explains to the girl that this isn't the right attitude one should have against another but the girl didn't really care as much. so the teacher brings both kids together and asks the girl to apologize to the boy. the
