There are traits in a leader like Reagan that I want to emulate. These traits encompass being able to make a tough decision when it really counts. In the end, we changed the broken part and returned the aircraft to service knowing we had made the right choice. By my actions, decisions, and behaviors, I hope to have changed the culture in aircraft maintenance by demonstrating there is no exception to following the rules.

Through intellectual stimulation and creating a felt need for change, he inspired Americans to build a new missile defense program to protect America. In addition to being a visionary leader, Reagan was an ethical leader because of his desire to secure release of seven American hostages. He was trapped in an ethical dilemma but used depth to think critically and free hostages. Despite a violating an arms embargo, Reagan freed the seven American hostages and saved their lives. Similar to Regan, I used intellectual stimulation to create a felt need for change with fuel, bombs, fix and faced an ethical dilemma when choosing to follow tech data or not.
In closing, picture yourself as the most powerful person in the free world and ask yourself the question, how much is one American life worth? Did you put a price tag on it? Would you be willing to come up with challenging new ideas or potentially do what is wrong to save a life if you were not able put a value on it?
