The rules for teens with learner permits were made for a good reasons. Teens may not be able to handle the pressure of driving at night or by themselves. Teens should not drive without an adult present because they might make the wrong decisions, like a loud radio, no seatbelt, drinking & driving, etc... They may also not know what to do in certain situations like an accident, or if there is situation inside the vehicle. It is always dangerous at night at any age, but for inexperienced drivers it's twice as hard. They may not see important signs, or they run a stop sign, at night teens may not see if there is stuff on the road like animals, or people, or objects.
