Essay Why College Athletes Should Get Paid
Maybe college athletes should get paid because they half to work really hard to get on the college teams and leagues. The players play sports a lot as kids too get into college basketball, football, lacrosse, and college soccer. College players spend a lot of time practising and planning for all of their games and they even show more hustle than the players from the NBA. This already proves that they could and should get paid. As much as we all love watching sports we also love how the different skills are like College to the NBA.But that’s not all we like, some of us even like the college players more than the NBA players but it’s not like we’re talking about the very skilled ones like Stephen Curry, Lebron James, and Chris Andersen.
Sometimes Other players can be drafted but that doesn’t happen until they reach a certain level of skill. Some players don’t care about the money they care about the fame. Some players are more worried about the merchandise that will be based off them or having their faces on coffee mugs. And other players care about how much money they might make but the only downfall is that college players don’t get paid so they would half to get drafted. The only thing that makes them different is the skill level but that doesn’t mean that they should get paid, I think the NBA doesn’t want them to get paid because if they get paid then they would have no reason to go to the NBA because they would already be getting paid so if they get paid then it could run the National Basketball Association out of business, This could be a major outrage to all the fans of the NBA because they would cause riots, lead protest, and cause violence and hatred besides the players wouldn’t be to happy because they don’t get to
play.
They players would lose their fame and they wouldn’t have jobs.
They should get paid because they work really hard to get to where they want to be. some players only want to go to college to them that is a goal accomplished.getting into college is like winning a grammy award for some players….. well maybe not that good but they think it’s pretty cool to play college basketball or football or lacrosse or soccer. they have achieved their goal in life.The only thing that stands in there way is the skills needed to play in their desired professional sport that they love to play.
