Ethical and Socially Responsive Business.
A code of ethical conduct contains written morals to prevent misconduct within the workplace. Cheesecake Factory encourages employees to promote honest and ethical conduct both personally and professionally. It is important to stay compliant with both government laws and Cheesecake Factory’s guidelines.

in 170 locations. This growth has been achieved as the company has adopted very stringent Corporate Code of Ethics. And Code of Business Conduct for carrying out day to day operation as well as Code of Ethics for Executive Officers, Senior Financial Officers and Directors that would draw the roadmap and infuse transparency into the system.
Key areas of the company 's code of conduct:
• The Company has ensured trust, loyalty, honesty, and responsibility among staff members, so that internal harmony is established, and then the company can achieve its mission.
In the hospitality industry, staff acts as an essential strength as they become representative of the Company to the customer. Current policy lays down enough emphasis on internal bonding and unity so that a positive decorum can be created which eventually has led to the success of the organization.
• Emphasis has been laid on adherence to local laws as the company is operating in different locations. It is very critical as it not only infuses reputation among the stakeholder but will strengthen the brand and image of the Company.
• The interesting aspect mentioned in the policy is where the company focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere for the guests, vendors, staff members and applicants. Inculcating this as part of ethics is indeed an excellent practice that the company has adopted, and it has helped the Company to grow steadily and gain reputation over the years.

conduct.
• All employees should read and sign the code of conduct document, and then the company will keep a copy of this acknowledgment in each employee’s personal folder in the event that any misconduct should happen. By reading and signing this document, each employee will have a better understanding of how to determine appropriate behavior from inappropriate. They will also be able to modify their actions to fit within the behavior requirements. This code of conduct protects both the employee and the management from any internal misbehavior. If any employee should observe any practices that they believe are in violation of this code or law, they should immediately report it to their supervisor.
• In-house review of the code of conduct should be required in some interval to ensure that employees are fully aware of the various laws, rules and regulation so that they can be compliant.
• Employee should be given an award for following the practices religiously which in turn will motivate other members to follow sued.
Ways in which Cheesecake Factory can engage in socially responsive activities:
• There are many different incentives the company can offer from free food to gift cards. This not only gets the employees excited to give back but also show their customers they care.
• Cheesecake Factory can distribute free food to the poor .This will show that the company is not only interested in amassing wealth but they care.
• set a percent of each dollar made in a selected time period to be donated to a chosen cause. A few companies such as Coca-Cola donate a portion of their sales in a three year time period. Other businesses set up a much shorter time period such as a week or month. Furthermore, as it spread across various regions, it should contribute a part of the profit to the local non-profit organizations for development of the
area.
Ethics and Social Responsibility are the responsibility of the organization towards its investors and society as a whole by inculcating a sense of accountability, responsibility, transparency, ethics and compliance. It also includes minimizing the impact on the environment and providing quality jobs, paying taxes. Thus, we can prudently say that the future of corporate social responsibility is about the combination of accountability, a business case, ethics, sustainability, or even compliance.
Each business should get involved with their local community. It will not only help them as a company but also provides support for less-privileged people and families. Customers will appreciate you and in return most businesses see an increase in profits.
