Eulogy For Johannes Kepler's Death

We are gathered here today to mourn the death of a well-known man. Johannes Kepler, very brilliant and hardworking. He was born in Weil der Stadt, Swabia southwest Germany in 1571. His grandfather Sebald Kepler mayor of the city took care of him for two years along with his grandmother. He learned many things from them while he adored the learnings from them. Johannes pursued a lot of his dreams growing up he loved school. I remember when he started his university education at the Protestant university of Tubingen. He worked hard to pass the M.A examination which he successfully did two years later. A great influencer in his life was Michael Maestlin he taught Johannes in the university with the teachings of the Ptolemaic system. I remember
He cared a lot for his work he taught arithmetic geometry for six years and only some students were interested in it. Also he never stopped working in his spare time he would pursue his love for studies of astronomy and astrology. 1597 Johannes fell in love it was mesmerizing. A women by the name Barbara Muller married Johannes. They didn’t wait to live there life by giving birth to three children. We will remember all of them bless the two that are with their father right now. He was so strong even with the hard times in his life. He published his work in which he had argued that the planets from the sun were determined by the five regular solids. Who would have known? But I always side with Johannes in all his believing. Johannes made a lot of people proud. His work was so brilliant he got invited by Tycho Brahe to Prague to become his assistant. He was ecstatic I remember him telling me and you can see the light in his eyes. Well he moved to Prague to work aside Tycho Brahe. He told me he had to leave the city where he was at because of the remembrance. Things started looking up for him when he met Susanna Reuttinger. She helped him a lot and gave him six children yes six. But three had died very early in their years but they are with him right now. Things were going good for him very successful in publishing his work. However there are a tragic of events that came to Johannes with the witch hunt after his mother whom he tried to proceed with her which later paid off setting her free. The war that ended his position thirty years war terrible for him for many people. It mad his position in Linz to become horrible because he was a court official. Johannes got exempted from the province because it banished all Protestants. With all the ruckus Johannes left with his family making another great decision for all of them. He was a very good person to everyone and his family even though his hands were quite crippled and had to live with his eyesight impaired from smallpox.
