Hampton Roads Pride, a local 501(c) (3) non-profit group, has contracted my company, Divine Debauchery, to produce their annual Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) Pride Festival titled “Out in the Park”. The event will be held Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Chesapeake City Park and is free and open to the public. In past years the event has attracted upwards of 5000 attendees and we are anticipating a slight increase in attendance this year. We have been allotted a budget of $30,000 to cover all costs. Divine Debauchery will be responsible for securing the event location, contacting and arranging for all tables, chairs, tents, and sound systems, acquiring an ABC One-day Special Event Permit for Wine and Beer sales, contacting and arranging for Hoffman beverage company to provide a beer truck with spouts, providing trained and certified bartenders, acquiring all needed insurances, hiring entertainment and arranging their travel and lodging, and hiring the required security for the event. Divine Debauchery will also be responsible for the layout of the festival space, including food court area and beer garden, as well as a vendor’s marketplace, and for promoting the event. This will be noted in Divine Debauchery’s contract with our client to
