The primary method of treatment or service is problem solving, a process focused on the here and now that maximizes the identification and use of client strengths.

The first step would be to identify the problem, find out exactly what is gone on with the client.
Take time to build a professional relationship with the client, so that they trust that you’ll do all you can to help.
Help build client self-esteem and sense of personal responsibility as clients work successfully through the process.
