Example Of Ganas Research Paper
My desire “ganas” is to give children in third world countries a chance to have an education. I know this is a difficult task to accomplish but if I have an education, and put all my heart into it, I think I can accomplish my goal. Just like the students in Stand and Deliver they have “ganas” but their goal is to go to college. Having “ganas” will benefit your education because you will feel more accomplished, you will be able to challenge yourself and develop a good work ethic. I am going to need desire to make my dream come true.
Becoming an elementary teacher has always been something i've wanted to do. I would have to take the following steps in order to fulfill my dream. The first thing I would have to do is create a studying schedule
in order to keep my grades high and have a good GPA. I would have to research courses i would need and the degrees. I would be in university for 6 years and get 2 degrees. I would then apply to a school district and once I got accepted i would teach Kindergarten to grade 6. In the summer I would volunteer to help build schools in Africa. My motto is “ Do it with a passion or don’t do it at all.”
In one scene in Stand and Deliver it shows the kids coming to school early and studying into the night. In order for me to go to university and become a teacher, I need to have good grades. I would need to develop a good work ethic and study every night. The kids in the movie developed a good work ethic and desire which helped them achieve their goal. They did their homework and studied every night even though they had responsibilities and distractions. They partied, had part time jobs, took care of family and did chores. They did the advanced placement test twice to prove they didnt cheat even though they didn't have to. That takes alot of desire. I would do the same thing if it meant I could become a teacher.
