Theft
At 19:05 hrs, on Thursday 1oth April 2014 Inspector Jacob and Inspector Rudolph form Theft Squad under the Jurisdiction of Abidjan Police Station were on routine patrol in their respected location. During the patrol, the Police Control radioed them and informed that the theft of a blue Mercedes Benz Car registration # 493DN 173 where parked in parking lot at Smiley Super Market grid reference 369-318.
Both officers reached the scene at 19:15 hrs and met a black female, named Dorothy Palmer, about 179 cm, aged 29 years, residing flat # 2 Building #17 Daffodil Apartment Complex Abidjan. She stated to the police officers that she parked the car at 17:30 hrs and returned to the parking lot at 18:45 hrs when she saw the driver's door vehicle lying open. saw a young boy sitting in the driver's seat looking in her direction. The boy who was sitting on driving seat was about 20 years old, 174 cm tall, short black hair, in a black coat and dark colored trousers and another boy about 25 years old, 180 cm tall, in a blue jeans and dark ski mask and white trousers was taking something out the car. The male put objects into the yellow school bag. When he reached the car, 2 youths ran off nearby block of the flat. She followed them but they were hiding in the flat so she returned to back her car and rushed to the Indian shop and called the police at 19:00 hrs about the incident. They stole car video player worth 300 Euros, 20 video CDs per CDs worth 5 Euros and red bag worth 50 Euros. The damage to car worth about 250 Euros.
The officers conducted the searched in a flat 30 minutes and they found black diary and a purse containing 200 Euros and a photography of a youth male lay on the drivers sear.
The photo sent to the Criminal Identification Bureau and police requested her to come to the police station Abidjan with her smashed vehicle. The case of theft #273, registration on 10 April 2014. The Criminal Identification Bureau sent the identification of suspect who was Abino carto date of birth 25 march 1995 residing in Free Town Street Abidjan. The suspect was wanted in a list of police who was involved in various criminal activities including theft, burglary and mugging. The police station sent the patrol team in the mention location and were able to arrest Abino carto with theft items. The suspect was taken to the Abidjan Police Station and he confessed his crime and gave information to the police that his another friend Nicolous Borwax who either residing 21 National Avenue or residing his girlfriend Bolen house at 47 Canadian Road. The police patrol searched both location but could not find the suspect. The police promised to the victim that they apprehended the suspect within two
days.
The arrested suspect charged with theft and another suspect at large. The case was under investigation.
