Examples Of Social Classes In The Outsiders

Social classes are a division of a society based on social and economic status. In the book The Outsiders there are two classes. The lower class is called Greasers; they are tough and work hard to earn money for their needs. However, on the other side there is the higher class, they are called the Socs (abbreviation of socials). They are people who are rich, they don’t need to work hard to earn money. These social classes exist because of money. In my own life I see many examples of social classes. In our school we divide into two groups the athletes and the gamers.
